Sažetak
The town of Sisak and its wider area belong geographically to the Pannonia region which occupies the extreme south-west part of the spacious Pannonian plain. The location of today s Sisak, i.e., Illyro-Celtic Segestica and Roman Siscia, is not product of chance but was most carefully chosen by the unmistakeable criteria by which the peoples of prehistory and especially the Celts and Romans were choosing settlements or trade routes.
