Sažetak
The paper highlights organizaƟons and organizaƟonal structures as well as relevant factors and characterisƟcs. It presents contemporary trends and structures, including team and process structures. In addiƟon, it describes contemporary trends, such as business process reengineering, outsourcing, and networking. UlƟmately, the aim of this paper is to present and describe the organizaƟonal structure of the shipbuilder Brodosplit and explore the effects of the choice of structure on business processes and compeƟƟveness in the market. A performance raƟng is also provided. By applying two basic principles – abstracƟon and aggregaƟon – we propose a shipbuilding process development model as a contribuƟon to the organizaƟonal structure model of shipbuilding enterprises through the applicaƟon of system dynamics.
