Sažetak
The starting point of this work are D. Zima’s and A. Kos Lajtman’s studies about child’s character in a children’s novel and autobiographical discourse in children’s literature. The author analyzes how this genre is changing in literary series, and what is the role of different strategies for the development of the main characters, in three separate authorial poetics. The conclusion is that the abundance of text holds the series firmly in the novel genre, but the relationship between illustrations and text is very dynamic and lively, whether in terms of visual upgrades, comments, changing narrative tones or encouraging independent reader associations.
