Sažetak
The virtual technology provides new possibilities in creating new products in services organizations. Virtual technologies encourage visitors to be active and more immersed in the museums and art galleries offer and improve the availability of their services. The goal of the paper is to present the results of the primary research which has been carried out at University of Dubrovnik, Department of Economics and Business Economics and refers to the students' perceptions towards virtual technology (VR) application in Dubrovnik museums and art galleries business practice. According to the results of the primary research which has been carried out in 2020., including the sample of 150 students it is visible that students have positive attitudes towards implementation of VR technologies in museums and art galleries business practice in Dubrovnik. There is no significant difference in attitude between students in Erasmus + Mobility Program and students of University of Dubrovnik, Department of Economics and Business Economics. The research provides the framework for creating new products/services based on VR technology, but also shows on necessity of paying more attention to generation Z and their expectation towards museums and art galleries offer. As a digital generation , Generation Z expects virtual technology to be deeply integrated in museums and art galleries business practice, so engaging tech- savvy students is a challenging task for museums and art galleries curators.
