Sažetak
The study of the Patristic citations of the early ecclesiastical writers is both a challenge and a necessity for the textual critics of the Greek New Testament. They provide data that are of significance for the study of textual transmission and can lead to the solving of numerous problems and puzzles relating to the history of the text of our Bible. The case study presented in these pages is an attempt to reconstruct the text of the Gospel of John from an important Father whose text has not yet been analyzed, and to examine this text in the light of the manuscript tradition. This reconstructed text and the results of its study will prove to be of some value in contributing to the field of which they are a small part.
