Sažetak
Tests of thin-walled tubes made of industrial zirconium alloys E110 and E635 (including a new modifications of these alloys) for stress corrosion cracking (SCS) in an aggressive corrosion environment of iodine-methanol have been carried out. Time to failure of alloys is determined and corrosion damageability is assessed. Corrosion fracture mechanisms observed in zirconium alloys are analyzed on micro and macro levels.
