Sažetak
The article deals with the practice in a non- Russian-speaking environment in teaching Russian as a foreign language (RFL) to Croatian students using information technology. A challenge in teaching RFL is presented by various extra- linguistic and life circumstances (such as a pandemic) that affect the training of a teacher, his readiness to adapt to the new requirements. Modern technologies represent a communication bridge between teachers and students. The author presents models that provide students learning the Russian language and literature through a creative approach, including the relationship towards Russian culture, the peculiarities of the culture and national mentality in the multicultural education system.
