Sažetak
Humans have always been the key to success in maritime transport. However, it has become apparent that inappropriate human actions are a common cause of accidents and incidents at sea. As part of the solution to the problem, the maritime industry has made significant changes, especially in terms of regulations, to improve safety at sea. However, available statistics show that most accidents and incidents at sea are still caused by human error. Therefore, a radical solution has been proposed with the concept of unmanned vessels. The idea behind this is that not having humans on ships can not only improve maritime safety but also bring significant savings to shipping companies. However, in light of the proposed measures, a number of unanswered questions arise that could lead to new kinds of risk sat sea.
