Sažetak
The research was carried out into Metal Active Gas-Cold Metal Transfer(MAG-CMT) welding process in order to assess the influence of its parameters on the achievement of satisfactory quality of the welded layer. The research results showed to what extent individual welding parameters (factors) influenced the observed properties (content of Δα— delta ferrite less than 5% on the surface of Ni- alloy weld overlay, minimal mixing of the base and the cladded material while maintaining adequate bonding between the base (base material) 16Mo3 and the weld overlay (cladding material) Inconel 625, achieve-ment of a uniform thickness along the entire welded surface, and reduction of rough transitions between passes). As of the face- centered central composite design of experiment, there were input variables analyzed (helium content, gas flow, arc length correction) with the aim to determine their influence on the quality of the Ni-alloy weld overlay, such as the delta ferrite content and the height of the Ni-alloy weld overlay. The data were processed in the Design-Expert software for the purpose of developing a mathematical model.
