Sažetak
This editorial contains fifteen recent research studies in the broad field of ship structural design, analysis and degradation, where two studies deal with corrosion degradation in ship structures, while the remaining contributions belong to three major steps in the efficient design and analysis of ship structures, i.e., modelling of the environment and environmental loads, analysis of a ship structural response, and the definition of criteria for different failure modes of ship structures.
