Sažetak
A simple and precise method is described for the determination of phosphates in cellulose acetate membranes. It is based on the conversion of phosphorous into phosphate-ion by wet combustion and by the spectrometric determination of phosphate as molybdenum blue at 620 nm. The result have shown that phosphorous added as an ingredient in the form of orthophosphoric acid in the process of cellulose acetate membrane making, is bound in the membrane after all standard membrane treatments.
