Sažetak
The economic diplomacy model of a country represents the diplomatic activities directed toward the advancement and protection of economic interests of a country, while its concept has to ensure that the activities of such a diplomacy are efficient and successful. Literature divides the organization of the economic diplomacy activity network into the unified model, partially unified model, model of competition, third agency model and model of resignation. The research conducted in this paper will try to prove the paper’s basic hypotheses (H1) The economic diplomacy model conducted by the actors of economic diplomacy in France is the third agency model and (H2) The economic diplomacy model conducted by the actors of economic diplomacy in Austria is the model of resigning the economic diplomacy role. The structure of the data analyzed for France and Austria encompasses the general and economic data with an emphasis on macroeconomic indicators, the taxation system, foreign trade, the specificity of economic diplomacy development, the organization of the network, i.e. economic diplomacy model, and the human potential issue, i.e. the modality of recruitment and training of staff in economic diplomacy.
