Sažetak
In 2020 Covid-19 pandemic changed European healthcare on a massive scale. To ensure the safety of anesthesia and surgical staff during pandemic, UHC Zagreb, Croatia, implemented mandatory Covid-19 testing of all patients undergoing surgery. PCR-testing for SARS-CoV-2 virus is a time-consuming process, resulting in longer stay in ED.The goal of this study is to compare the door-to-OR-table times in 2020 with those of pre- pandemic 2019 and evaluate whether there was a significant delay in care available.
