Sažetak
Total energy approach can be used in determination of performance comparison, especially for aircraft with wide range of Mach number – flight altitude like fighter aircraft. With this approach it is possible to analyze level flight, climb and turn capabilities. This analysis was conducted for some well known configurations of modern fighter aircraft, a fourth generation and beyond fighters. An example of older generation fighter aircraft, a current fighter aircraft in Croatian Armed Forces, is included in analysis as a reference.
