Sažetak
Energetic particles i.e., solar energetic particles and galactic cosmic rays are important as- pects of space radiation. Investigating them requires consistent measurements of electrons and ions over more than a solar hale cycle. The Electron Proton Helium INstrument on- board the SOlar and Heliospheric Observatory is operational since 1995 and was designed to measure electrons in the energy range of 0.3 to 10 MeV as well as protons and helium ions in the energy range from 4 to 50 MeV per nucleon in four different coincidence channels with 1-min resolution. Aside the nominal measurements, single detector measurements as well as the extension to energies above 50 MeV has proven to be a useful tool for investigating modulation on different temporal scales from a few minutes to Carrington rotation averages. Here we present the status of the instrument and selected measurements from solar cycle 23 to 25.
