Sažetak
In Shakespeare and the Goddess of Complete Being (1992), Ted Hughes analyses 15 plays of Shakespeare in terms of a shared invariant structure, proposing a basic model of semiotic transformation operative in them. This study tries to argue that the critical bias which had failed to situate this study in the theoretical context(s) and referential framework(s) it establishes rapport with is the same Hughes finds dismantled by Shakespeare.
