Sažetak
Application of genetic algorithm in prediction of chromatographic retention in TLC is reported. The performance of genetic algorithm is tested regarding parameters: number of generation, population size, mutation probability and crossover probability. This algorithm is applied in prediction of RF-value for triazine pesticide atrazine in reverse phase thin-layer chromatography with methanol:water mobile phase.
