Sažetak
This work is an introductory text to the proceedings of the 13th SIEF congress organized in Gottingen in 2017. The introduction outlines the main concepts and approaches to the theme of the special issue, i. e. to the ways of dwelling. It raises the question of how dwelling is imagined, conceptualized, narrated, crafted, materialized, put into practice, represented in artwork, transformed and challenged. It also presents nine articles published in the special issue.
