Sažetak
A complex quality initiative that address leadership, tools and infrastructure issue at the same time, called Six Sigma, have recently emerged. Six Sigma approach was based on rigorous Japanese theories of TQM for use in the manufacturing process. The objective of Six Sigma is to improve organization efficiency as well as effectiveness in meeting customer needs, ultimately creating economic wealth for the customer and provider. Aiming for 3.4 ppm, Six sigma introduce and employ a systematic project-oriented methodology trough Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control (DMAIC) cycle. The paper gave an introduction and overview of Six Sigma methodology.
