Sažetak
In-vitro studies have shown that statins have the ability to supress JAK2-V617F-dependent cell growth. This multicenter retropective study analyzed the potential impact of the concomitant use of statins on the frequency of phlebotomies in patients with polycythemia vera, a hematological neoplasm charaterized by JAK2-driven erythropoiesis.
