This is a Trinity College Dublin Long Room Hub 'Fellow in Focus' interview, conducted on 12 October 2021, when Aidan O'Malley was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Long Room Hub. Prof. Michael Cronin (Trinity College Dublin) interviews O'Malley about his career and, in particular, his work in the intersections of Translation Studies and Irish Studies. The interview also touches on O'Malley's current project on the construction of 'Europe' in Irish literature and literary discourse since 1940.
