Sažetak
Objective. Assessment of predictive values of PA- IgG test indifferent stages of chronic ITP Design. PA-IgG tests were performed by adapted Thrombo match EIA (Biotest, Germany) in adult patients with chronic ITP of different stages, as well as in patients with presumably non-immune thrombocytopenias. All tests were performed in duplicate. Results exceeding negative control reading+3 standard deviations were considered positive. Materials. PA-IgG tests were performed in 26"early"«6months)and 18"late"(>6 moths after diagnosis) patients with chronic ITP. Control groupconsistedof13thrombocytopenicpatients with myeloid diseases, 7 with solid malignant tumors, 5 with chronic liver disease and 19non- thrombocytopenicpatients suffering from vascular cerebral diseases. Conclusion. Increased PA-IgG seems to be less pronounced feature in early than in later phases of chronic ITP in adults. The consequences of this feature may be impaired validity of PA-IgG tests when performed shortly following clinical diagnosis, but also a hint that first months of chronic ITP may be characterized with some distinct pathophysiologic features.
