Sažetak
Stability testing of Pravastatin tablets is presented. Pravastatin is sensitive to a low pH environment and to moisture and will degrade to form its lactone and other degradation products. Two types of blisters with barrier properties were investigated as candidates for the final packaging. Based on the obtained stability data, a shelf life of 24 months is proposed if the drug product is stored at temperatures not above 25°C, in the selected packaging and protected from humidity.
