Sažetak
Lecturers of foreign language for specific purpose teaching at agricultural or similar faculties have a very difficult task since in literature students of the said faculties are often described as a specific population. They are characterized by a low level of elementary grammar knowledge, poor active and passive vocabulary, and the lack of motivation. Therefore, materials used and methods applied in foreign language teaching for specific purposes require skilled, highly motivated, and methodically experienced lecturers, who will be able to create modern and functional courses that will respond to students' expectations. The purpose of this paper is to show how simple it may sometimes be to motivate students and to enable them to study foreign language(s) and simultaneously learn more about agriculture, tradition, themselves, and their role in the societyof tomorrow.
