Sažetak
The paper focuses on TQM in tourism and the hospitality industry, and on the special approach needed in implementing TQM in these industries. Each chapter deals with a special type of standard: standards of performance management, personnel standards, ethical standards and ecological standards. A list of standards is featured in every chapter. The purpose of this paper is to underline the economic advantages and market inevitability of introducing standards and TQM to tourism and the hotel industry, especially in Croatia.
