Sažetak
Institute of Philosophy organized its traditional summer school in 2021 under the title "In and Out - questioning the philosophical canon". The organizers of the summer school was the Research Centre of Women in Philosophy (CIŽUF) led by Luka Boršić and Ivana Skuhala Karasman. As a part of the summer school, I gave a lecture on the Renaissance woman of letters and the the first Croatian woman philosopher, Maria Gondola (Maruša Gundulić). In the lecture I argued that, despite the fact that we have only one short text preserved with her signature, and one text in which she appears as the interlocutor, it is nevertheless legitimate to claim that we can reconstruct and recover some coherent philosophical positions that can be attributed as genuine to the historical person of Maria Gondola.
