Sažetak
The mechanical transmission with independently controllable output speed(s) is proposed as patent. It is able to convert the arbitrary speed of the input shaft into the controllable speed(s) of one, two, three or more external shaft(s). The basic transmission consists of two planetary gear trains with three rotating shafts, mutually connected in parallel with two ordinary gear drives, first and second, having two mated gears each. It has three external shafts: one input shaft of arbitrary thus uncontrollable speed, entering to the first ordinary gear drive, and the rest two shafts, output and input, with mutually controllable speeds, independent of the transmission input uncontrollable speed. The controllability of those speeds is achieved on the basis of ability of planetary gear trains to run two shafts at variable speed while the speed of the third shaft is kept constant and on determining their basic gear ratios for the previously given speed ratio of two controllable shafts. When an additional gear is mated with one of the gears of the second ordinary gear drive, its shaft is used to connect the control motor, which, by means of simple speed control system, controls the speed of transmission input shaft connected to prime mover shaft, forcing it to run at optimal speed enabling operations with maximum efficiency or some other required feature. When two controllable shafts are connected in an additional gear drive, it can be performed with a single output shaft that is also the output shaft of the transmission with speed determined by the connected machine or can be performed with two or more output shafts one of which is connected to control generator that controls the speed(s) of other(s) output shaft(s).
