Sažetak
Advanced teaching movement in Croatia have had a big influence on national eduaction and on adult education.It can be said that he developing teaching direction was very important in spite all of the difficult circumstances, in the dissemination of pedagogical ideas, educational reform, public and cultural relations. Futhermorem the teching organizations have organized scholary meetings and conferences, and supported the publishing of books. In particular the members of the organization have been involved in public education in the form of literacy courses, agricultural and health education, advisory work with families, organization of public speeches, perfomances, and so on. The work and actions of the developing teaching direction can be referred to as the foundation of the andragogic tendencies and practices in Croatia.
