Sažetak
In the presented paper, investigation of the axysymmetric backward extrusion process of the first stage of diving container is analysed and the general principles in the development of metal forming processes and process for semifinished product in particularly are briefly discussed. Axisymmetric extrusion is chosen as an example for finite element modelling. This is carried out after making simplifying assumption of the deformation geometry. The prelimenary investigation on the simple backward extrusion model of lead billet using various finite elements are presented.
