Sažetak
The faunistics and systematics of whitefly within Croatia has, until recently, been poorly researched. Data provided by Zahradnik in 1963 listed thirteen species from former Yugoslavia and identified only two species (Aleurolobus olivinus and Trialeurodes lauri) in Croatia. This data was included in "Whitefly of the world" (Mound 1978). Thirteen whitefly species have been identified within Croatian Middle Adriatic Region during the period of last six years. Whiteflies are significant to the agriculture in Croatia as general pests.
