Sažetak
The basic requirements of the UIC 860 V Codex of International Railway Union on railway rails quality and the results obtained by determination of basic zensile properties, fracture toughness and bending fatigue strangth of rail steel grade 700, 900 A and 900 B manufactured in Iron and Steel Works Zenica are given. The obtained results are compared with reference data and correlations between some properties as well as calculation of critical flaw sizes at rails are established for two values of permissible stresses.
