Sažetak
Poverty, war, migration, discrimination, exploitation, injustice make it clear that we are far from healing the ills which pit human beings against one another. All point to the virus of hate as their root cause. Recognizing the causes of hatred can reveal the conditions for overcoming it. Spinoza's philosophy of freedom and love provide the basis for discovering the causes of destructive emotions and for converting them to active and constructive ones, thus moving humanity closer to reconciliation, mutual understanding, and universal community
