Sažetak
The rapidly increasing demand for the relocation of yachts and other recreational boats between regions has resulted in various transport possibilities. The study aimed to estimate and compare external costs of yacht transport as deck cargo on a general cargo ship with those arisen from navigating by yacht on the selected transportation route. Specifically, the study estimated air pollution costs of the two alternatives, resulting from the maritime activities, in the main emission pollutant categories: CO2, SOx, NOx, PM10, and PM2.5. In addition to the primary aim of the study, cost-effectiveness criterion of selected transport modes was also considered.
