Sažetak
The detrmination of 6, 6-dibromopenicillanic acid S, S-dioxide (III) and 6, 6-dibromopenicillanic acid S-oxide (IV) in mixture has been caried out by infrared spectroscopy. The feasibility of using the potassium bromide pellet technique and the potassim ferricyanide as internal standard for quantitative analysis of highly insoluble penicillanic acid derivatives has been investigated. The preparation of the disks and tretment of the data by regression analysis are described. Preliminary identification of penicillanic acid derivatives with sulfur-oxygen vibrations improves the speed and accuracy of subsequent analysis.
