Sažetak
Teaching sustainability is the key lever in reaching Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the philosophy of science is one of the suitable ways to teach sustainability. Researching and teaching the sustainability idea can be achieved by following the philosophy of science procedure. Philosophy of science approach to learning and teaching some phenomenon can have three steps: 1) defining the facts or observations, 2) logical analisys and interpretation of those that facts or observations with scientific theories, and 3) evaluating different scientific theories (or hypotheses) which tend to explain the facts or observations. One way of teaching sustainability from the philosophy of science aspect has to cover all three of these elements, and also, along with that to acknowledge the basic structure of scientific methodology. This presentation is restricted to the global warming (GW) phenomenon as an important part of sustainability.
