Sažetak
The planet we are inhabiting is seriously endangered by excessive consumption and production. This has been recognized by a number of studies, recommendations, action plans and other policy instruments on the European and global scale. However, recognition is not enough per se. What we are still missing are effective and practical solutions to the issue of outmost importance, namely the preservation of our planet. This is the core of the definition of sustainability, which relies on the relation between people and the planet. How we behave affects our planet. How and what we produce and consume affects both us and the planet. Currently, we are on the edge of consuming our planet, as the only place we are living on.
