Sažetak
We studied comparatively female and male workers exposed to different aerosols of industrial environment. Organic dust included coffee, spices, cotton, flax, hemp, and animal food. Women and men had similar prevalence of chronic and acute respiratory symptoms and diseases. Ventilatory capacity was decreased during work shift as well as in relation to predicted values. Measurements of dust concentrations in the work environment indicated a higher values than recommended by Croatian standards.
