Sažetak
The microwave drying of raw clay in shape of plates has been experimentally investigated by the method of gravimetry, following simultaneuosly the temperature of the simples. At given power microwave heating, exxperiments of varyingduration have been performed. The measuring has enabled the construction of the kinetics drying curve: moisture content as a function of time, drying rate as a function of time and moisture content, and temperature of the samples as a function of time and moisture content. The exponential model ζ = α·EXP(-ktn) satisfies the kinetics of the entrie process of microwave drying, and that its parameters have phenomenological sense. The presented results are of significant help for the quantitative description and analysis of the investigated process.
