Sažetak
Dramatic development of ICT technologies caused multi-layer social transformation. In order to stay relevant in the market, companies introduce new business models as well as new corporate governance practices and corporate technologies. New corporate technologies tend to bypass or circumvent traditional authorities and rely on cooperation and trust of participants involved. In absence of legal rules, new technologies are fraud sensitive. Enabling corporate culture i.e. the culture where a company accepts ideas coming from every part of the business and that rewards them, helps the navigation through a change. However, the importance of Corporate Culture in changing environment is being neglected. When dealing with new corporate technologies, the paper focuses on one particular, i.e. Blockchain. Authors review its basic technological features and potentials for its use in Corporate Governance, legislative attempts in regulating Blockchain related matters in corporate and/or capital market law and examine the role of the Corporate Culture in companies facing Blockchain and other corporate technologies.
