Sažetak
The effect of tobacco dust extract was studied on isolated guinea pig tracheal tissue. The extract caused the constrictive effect tracheal smooth muscle which was about 80% of the constriction caused by carbachol C10-1M. Adding the different drugs suggested that atropine almost completely blocked the constriction. Other drugs, such as pyrilamine and endomethacin only partly blocked the constrictive effect on smooth muscle. The data suggest that the respiratory findings in industrial workers can be caused at least partly by the constrictive effect of the enviromental agents.
