Sažetak
The relational conceptual database model of the Information System for Telecommunications Network (INFOSTEL) enables a formal description of telecommunications network elements. owing to this conceptual model, the Relational Database of INFOSTEL Model was implemented by RDBMS INGRES on VAX3100 in the laboratory of the Faculty of Elecrical Engineering and Computing. The data about the selected model of the telecommunications network were put into relations. Some application which enable the efficient presentation of the stored information to the user were developed. From the user's point of view, the most interesting applications are those allowing network-related information to be presented graphically on the screen. The possibilities of the application TOPOGRAF are described in this paper. It presents dynamic pictures on the screen in which the objects and their values are changed in dependence of the state of telecommunication network and our queries.
