Sažetak
The aim of this study was to find out which laboratory procedure, alloy and veneering material, available on our market, under different treatments (simulating ageing process in biological surroundings) are the best for clinical use. One of the biggest problems in biological enviroment is deattachment of the veneering material from its metal base, thus discrediting aesthetical appearance of fixed prosthetic appliance. Therefore, shear bond strength between the alloy and the veneering material was tested for different materials, laboratory procedures and aging treatments. The data were statisticaly analysed by using descriptive methods, factorial analysis of variance and Tuckey test. From the obatained results it was concluded that the conventional laboratory procedure and silicoating associated with beads are better than the silicoating of smooth surfaces (performed on investigated Ag-Pd alloys), and in silicoating technique resin "Dentacolor XS" showed better bonding results than other resins when submitted to ageing treatment.
