Sažetak
Setting ethical standards and socially responsible business in the organizational strategies of sports organizations is one of the key elements of their development and work for the benefi t of the wider community. Ethical and socially responsible business of sports organizations has a signifi cant role in the wider community. Ethical behavior of sports managers and human resources of sports organizations in order to achieve high strategic performance in all management functions strongly infl uence the image of sport in society. Ethics and social responsibility are one of the biggest business challenges of any sports organization. Unethical behaviors in sports organizations are not uncommon, and many managers and athletes make unethical decisions to gain personal gain. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the current situation in the field of strategic management and ethics in the development of socially responsible business of sports organizations. The research results offer managerial and theoretical implications. First of all, it emphasizes the need to direct the sports organization towards the systematic promotion of ethics and social responsibility through their implementation in the strategic goals of sports organizations, with the aim of achieving a positive social impact on the wider community. Likewise, based on a review of the relevant scientifi c literature, it is pointed out that the socially responsible business of sports organizations represents the ethical value of the organization, which primarily serves society as an incentive to promote healthy and active life.
