Sažetak
Medical imaging plays significant role in the diagnosis and therapeutic interventions of COVID- 19 pneumonia. Since chest radiographs (CXR) have mild sensitivity, computer tomography (CT) gives rapid and valuable information on disease onset and progression, with high sensitivity. Frequently found radiologic features of COVID-19 pneumonia are ground-glass opacities (GGO), crazy paving pattern and consolidation, bilaterally, mostly with peripheral distribution. In the first part of the presentation we describe multiple patients’ images with different CXR and CT characteristics and correlate them with clinical course of COVID- a9 pneumonia. In the second part of the presentation, we present patients with pulmonary thromboembolism. In the third part of the presentation, we display imaging of patients who have persistent symptoms of COVID-19 pneumonia or lung functional impairment after the initial recovery. The long-term effect of COVID-19 pneumonia is still largely unknown. It is considered as: long COVID-19, post-COVID-19 syndrome or post-acute COVID-19 syndrome. Organizing pneumonia most commonly occurs as a late phase complication of COVID-19. In the absence of a histological finding, clinical and CT findings may suggest a diagnosis.
