Sažetak
Whilst the literature set in the context of Western developed economies demonstrates that networks stimulate and contribute to entrepreneurial success, limited evidence from the economies of CEE suggests that entrepreneurial personal networks are a condition for the existence of entrepreneurship. The research questions that the study is addressing are: what is the role of entrepreneurial personal networks in the entrepreneurship process in the transition economy of Croatia? What is their historical development and characteristics? As the phenomenon has been underexplored in a transitional context and hence under-theorised, a qualitative methodology was adopted.
