Sažetak
The paper deals with modelling of the problem concerning the transportation of various kinds of cargo with one transport means from one source to one or more destinations. Mathematical model of such a problem can assume different forms, often involving a non-linear criterion function and either a linear or non-linear constraints, with an optimal solution being achievable by the dynamic programming method. The solution to the problem concerning transportation of different cargoes can be approached as a problem of either a simple or a complex distribution of a single source. The example presented in the paper illustrates how an optimum structure of container carriage by sea can be determined.
