Sažetak
Limit checking is very simple and intuitive method that can be applied for fault detection. Concept and variants of limit checking are briefly reviewed in this paper. This includes limit checking of absolute values, trend checking, fixed and adaptive thresholds, use of hysteresis and change detection.
