Sažetak
Introduction: The purpose of this study was to determine shear bond strength (ISO 29022) of a flowable bulk-fill composite resin bonded to dentin using three various adhesive systems which were cured either apart or simultaneously with the composite specimen.Materials and Methods: Noncarious third molars with completed root formation were collected and stored at room temperature in 1% chloramine solution for no longer than 3 months after extraction. To create a flat bonding substrates ; a mid-coronal section of tooth was made using a low-speed saw, dentin surface were embedded in an acrylic resin and wet- polished. Composite cylinders studs (d=2.37 mm and h=2 mm) were bonded upon dentin substrates using 3 different bonding agents ; Excite F (Ivoclar Vivadent), Prime&Bond Universal (Dentsply Sirona) and G- Premio Bond (GC). The application of each adhesion system was performed in two different ways. In the first group, the bonding agent was light cured immediately after the application (conventional method), while in the second group the adhesive and composite were cured concurrently („co-curing” method). Specimens were stored at 37 °C in distilled water and fractured in shear mode after 1 week. Results: The highest bond strength was identified for Prime&Bond conventional (20.3 MPa), whilst the lowest bond strength was observed when co-curing was used (particularly, Excite F 11.4 MPa). Light curing the adhesive separately produced significantly higher dentin bond strengths than co-curing for Excite F and Prime&Bond adhesive systems. Weibull moduli for Prime&Bond decline from 4.8 for conventional application to 3.9 for co-curing tehnique. For G- Premio Bond from 5.7 for separately light curing to 4.6 for cocuring and for Excite F from 3.7 to 3.6, respectively. Conclusions: In this study, specimens prepared with conventional application techique produced higher shear bond strength according to conventional and reliability analysis.
