Sažetak
Corporations when a problem of an economic nature arises, senior management is responsible for solving it and needs to find the causes. The primary goal of the corporation's activities is to acquire financial resources, not charitable activities. Acquiring funding is a powerful creative incentive, and the ability to acquire it can benefit the entire community. In the case when the business of corporations takes place in good international circumstances, corporations generate large financial resources, introduce new technologies, employ and expand the market. The purpose of researching this paper is to point out that today at the time of the Covid-19 pandemic due to growing protectionism and populism in such exceptional times it is clear that the epidemic will harm globalization trends. The world is losing the ability to respond to global economic, social, environmental and medical challenges. For some time now, four fundamental freedoms have been threatened: the free movement of people, goods, services and capital. Political action is part of every business strategy of an individual corporation, and over time they have all created their own lobbying systems that align the legal regulations of each country with their interests and act strongly against any change that conflicts with their business interests or reduces their profits. This paper aims to develop theoretical concepts through a review of the literature on the given and related topics that can be applied in further research of the concepts of the Covid-19 pandemic on the further development of globalization with emphasis on corporate action. It contributes to the discussion of a model that will respond to the challenges of change as new forms emerge whose measurement of effects and consequences still follows. There is no ideal model because each is subject to change and upgrading, as evidenced by the emergence of Covid- 19 and its impact on globalization flows and the structure of the globalization index.
