Sažetak
Decarbonization of the district heating sector will play a key role in future greenhouse gases emission reduction strategies. To enable decarbonization of the outdated Zagreb district heating system, refurbishment of the district heating grid is required, as is refurbishment of connected building envelopes. In this thesis, analysis is done on a 2018. reference scenario of the thermal system of Zagreb, and on four scenarios of implementation of varied renewable energy sources. Simulation of the theoretical scenarios is performed using the EnergyPLAN software. The EnergyPLAN software offers help in creating strategies for the development of energy systems.
